Beautiful and very attractive. The style, the colour combinations and a “sea” of information had surpassed even the best web-sites in horse racing. My best wishes for your team to flourish in future.

The following are my suggestions.
For horses classified as Maidens the letter M would suffice. Terms 3 years old is different from Maidens 3 years old. In case of graded races for e.g. BAN(S) Race No.111 G III T 4+ would be more appropriate than Terms 4 years. In case of age group 4, 5 & 6 yrs- 4 to 6 would be easily understandable.
Maidens 3 Yrs old only – M 3 Yrs
Maidens 3 year Unplaced – M 3 Unpl.
Terms 3 Yrs old only – T 3 Yrs
Terms 4 yr old and upwards – T 4+
Graded races – G
Terms 4 years only – T 4 Yrs.
20 to 45, Horses that have run but not placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd – 20 to 45 Unpl.
20 to 45, Horses that have run but not won – 20 to 45 RNW
20 to 45 4, 5&6 yrs – 20 to 45 4 to 6
20 to 45 4, 5&6 yrs D I – 20 to 45 4 to 6 D I
20 to 45 4, 5&6 yrs D II – 20 to 45 4 to 6 D II
It would be better if you can mention the actual weight carried by a horse in a race, instead of 62.5-5 or 50 + 1(overweight).It’s enough to mention 57.5 or 51 to save space.
The bend position will notify us whether the horse improved its position or dropped back in a race.
The weight of the horse wherever feasible (presently Bangalore)
The riding weight of jockeys would be an added attraction, be it M.Narredu or C.Rajendra or B.Mahesh or B.Mukesh which can be incorporated in the main page itself. Some publications are correct while some are wrong.
Swim record and race day reports are also important but given the space, it will alter the good look of the race card and hence may be carried out separately without infringing the tabulations.
Long names like Mohammed Shoaib are infringing the next column thereby reflecting the carry over in all columns.
Dear Abelraj
I appriciate your comments as such you have suggested to put difference in bitween the maidin three year old\term three year old\three year old unplaced we will keep in mind and try to incorprate same.In respect to jockeys weight we can only take data from books if any other way you can suggest then write to us or we can try to have the same from different clubs.Your this suggestion is very important we are trying to do the same as early as possible. We can copy race day report from club site and will in next few days . Just give us some time to incorporate all theese. Ravi Khanna.
Dear Mr. Ravi Khanna,
The age group is of much importance than segregating the races into divisions. A handicap race in 40 to 65 is superior to 40 to 65, 6 yrs old only, because a 3 year old can compete with a 6 year old in the former whereas a 3 year old cannot compete in the latter. If you simply put both as 40 to 65 without showing the age group, it will be difficult for us to ascertain the older horses competing with younger ones. I don’t think, there is much difficulty in mentioning the age group.
As for the jockeys riding weight, if the records are maintained in Excel sheet, it would give us a fair idea of the jockey’s lowest riding weight when the weight of the concerned jockey is sorted out in ascending order, especially when we feel that the jockey is expected to carry more weight than the allowance allotted to him. If some books are reliable the same can be incorporated in the race card. The clubs do post the weight carried in their results page. For e.g. the riding weight of Jockey A.Imran Khan is 53 kgs as per FLAMING ACE in Race No.29 who was handicapped at 52 kgs but ran the race with an overweight of 1kg. But Original Vel shows the riding weight of Jockey A.Imran Khan as 51.5 kgs.
Similarly the riding weight of G.Adarsh is 48.5 (Raiders Sun in race No.22 and Royal Zen in race No. 59) whereas Original Vel points his riding weight as 49 Kgs.0.5 Kgs could be treated as marginal but many a times the difference in the printed riding weight and the carried riding weight is as much as 2 kgs which could have a bearing on the runners. However I am not aware of other racing publications. In order to remove the anomaly in riding weights, I suggested the postings of riding weights which could be used by our viewers as a ready reckoner. Are you aware of any web site posting the details of the riding weight? This aspect causes a lot of doubt while analyzing Hyderabad races.
I feel that you can surpass a web site by posting these little aspects in your blog. Clubs do announce the overweight carried, just a few minutes before the start of each race, by which time it is too late for analyzing, Viz a Viz the weight carried.
You and your team are doing a good job. Keep it up.
DEAR ABEL
